Interacting with people the way Jesus did?

Life is good.

Life kinda stinks .

These are these typical responses you get when you ask someone how they are doing . Life kinda stinks in the one you hear less commonly.

ok so i was thinking is this more cultural or is it us not wanting people to become part of our lives . for me i would have to say its not cultural . I would have to say its me wanting to keep my relationship surface level with most people . but go really deep with a select few. I see this as a biblical view of how our relationships should be. look at Jesus he only had 12 close relationships while here on earth . and he chose who those close relationships would be with .

What is Grace? What is living A life of Grace ?

This is What Grace is ?

Grace is: God sending his son to the earth to die a death for our sins.

There was nothing easy about it at all. The Cross was heavy, the blood was real , and the price was extravagant. It would have bankrupted you or me, so he paid it for us. Call it simple. Call it a gift. But don't Call it easy.

Call it what it is . Call it Grace .

Thats God's Grace , so are we going to die on the cross to show God's Grace? I would say not for one that would be pretty insane . And number two Jesus did not willingly die on the Cross . ( Look at the Garden Of Gethsemane Luke 29:39-53)

Showing God's Grace is giving them that 2nd 3rd 4th 60th chance and forgiving them no matter what it takes , In Matthew 18 Jesus says you should forgive your brother seventy seven times. Jesus does not want us to count every time a person sins against us: we don't .

AND SHOULDN'T . He expects a lot out of us .

Think about it think about what kind of message it sends to someone who you are Graceful to. But not only forgive you seem to them.

For example your best friend backs up into your brand new truck. You, being a follower of Christ don't really care for things of this word so it does not really affect you much. But your friend never tells you , you find out about this a couple of days later . Then you see it . And you act like nothing happened . What is your non- Christian Friend going to think about you ? Well if i was in his shoes i would be asking why ? WHY? WHY?

This is not only showing Grace, Forgiveness, and Maybe even a little or a lot of mercy . Some action like this not only shows all these things but it gives you the opportunity to Share Christ with the person . We Are called to be disciples. We are called to Share what he has done for us , to share why we are the way we are .

Over the past couple of weeks. it has finally hit me smack dab in the gut I dont show Grace . I dont show the Grace of God.

I need to. I try to remind myself that i am not my own i was bought at a price.And so was every person on the earth. I look to the Bible for the ultimate example of Grace I read it and i see The Grace of God written all over it . The Cross !! Everything leads to the Cross, from the beginning of creation to the last verse of Revelation . No we can never meet all the Standards of God. But We can try and when we fail he is there for us .

I am Trying to be more like Christ Everyday by Showing his Grace. By Remembering I am not my own. By Remembering I serve the King of kings and the Lord of lords . I serve a King to which every knee will bow one day .

Grace

· This root word comes from words that mean. Gives pleasure, benefit, and happiness

· From Grace leaps joy and delight

· The basic definition of Grace is favor kindness goodness beauty gratitude and pleasure.

What do you think, do you really believe this . I mean it is in the Bible and the bible is God Breathed so it must be true right? of course it is .

I just want to say one thing about this text how do tend to look at Jesus is he more our friend then our God. Jesus is God , its hard to understand but that's how it is. Honestly i still don't understand the trinity and all that jazz there are people who spend 6 years in seminary and still cant explain to you what the trinity is .

i would have to say that within the six years or so i have called myself a Christian Jesus has been more of a friend than a God .

I have slowly been trying to change the way i view our saviour. Jesus is the king of kings and the lord of lord he is the God of gods the ruler of all nations of all people even people you have never even thought of or heard about .

That's my Jesus .... Do u know this Jesus. I'm trying to get to know him . And well he is a pretty awesome guy. I stand in awe of everything about our God.
